I have been a resident of Reading for over 44 years and a town meeting member for 3 years. There have been significant economic and housing changes in our community development. Growth is a positive change but over development without monitoring can have a negative impact on our community. I will continue to support positive changes that are fiscally responsible including environmental concerns, quality in our schools, mental health / social justice issues, and support our first responders.

When I was first elected to Town Meeting, I won with 2 votes, mine and my wife’s. I've been serving since, because there was no one willing to do the mundane but important work of Town Meeting.

I have been a Reading resident for 10 years and I have two children enrolled at Killam Elementary School. I've volunteered for several town commissions over the years and am interested in participating in Town Meeting because I welcome open debate and feel it is important to listen to the views of others. My goals are to support our excellent education system and to support Reading businesses and downtown development in a smart, sustainable and fiscally responsible way.

I've been a Reading resident for nearly 30 years and was a Town Meeting member in the aughts. I've been a volunteer for different initiatives in town that benefit the library, schools, and other organizations. My children are RMHS graduates.
There have been many positive changes in Reading, such as high density development and new downtown businesses, which need to be balanced against concerns such as traffic and green space. I want to add to the discussion on behalf of my precinct. Thank you!

I have resided in Reading for 37 years the town I call home. My grown daughter is RMHS graduate who received an excellent education. Over the years I have volunteered on Killam, Parker and RMHS PTO’s often holding executive positions. I was a RMHS Drama volunteer along with being a Girl Scout leader for 13 years. In the past, I’ve also delivered Meals on Wheels and taught CCD. I have served on Town meeting for 3 terms and look forward to being a voice for my constituents.

Resident of Reading since 1999. Two children at RMHS and one at the University of Vermont. Town Meeting member and PTO co-chair at Killam when children were younger, current member of Reading’s Human Relations Advisory Committee, and current co-coordinator of delivery volunteers for the Reading Food Pantry. I strive to stay informed about town issues, and if elected residents can count on me to always consider a wide range of community input, opinions, and needs. Thank you!

I have two school-aged children, a 5th grader and 2nd grader at Killam. I have lived in Reading for six years. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Pre-law and am a senior litigation paralegal. I am a Killam PTO member and Room parent and volunteered for the Reading Girl Scouts as a troop leader and Service Unit member. As a town meeting member, I will ask hard questions, be open-minded and work so that citizens' voices are heard and represented.

I am a forward thinking, evidence based decision maker. Mother to 3 in RPS. I believe strongly in public service & have been on TM for 5 years. I do my research and I always get input from affected parties. I seek to understand before being understood. Happy to talk to anyone about anything!

I just completed a 3-year term on town meeting and am running to continue serving my Precinct 2 neighbors. I enjoy being involved in the Reading community as a volunteer and board member of the Reading Food Pantry, and on the committee helping the town create the community garden coming to the Mattera Cabin area this spring. I would appreciate your vote so I can continue to collaborate with other community members and town staff to make decisions that will benefit all of Reading’s residents.

"Lifelong Reading resident (RMHS '01). I live in town with my husband and our two children, ages 9 and 7 and sit on the Killam PTO board. I've been on Rec Committee (current chair) for 8 years and Town Meeting for 3.
A statistician by trade, I offer data-driven representation. I will listen thoughtfully and weigh opinions. Mostly, I will ask ""Can we afford that?""
My only agenda is that the town's children are afforded the same quality education that I received.
Thank you for the consideration!"

Volunteerism is the backbone of a strong community. When I look around Reading I see people, from Little League Coaches to TMMs, serving to help ensure that Reading thrives. I have lived here since 2005. I teach at a local preschool and have 3 children that attend RPS. I have served on the PTO boards at Killam and RMHS. I have been a Girl Scout leader and volunteer to support the RMHS marching band. I have been a TMM for 5 years and I hope to continue to be a voice for Precinct 2.

Wow! You made it to the bottom of the alphabet! I better make this good...:)
I've lived in Reading for 17 years and been on Town Meeting for 4. I've volunteered for Understanding Disabilities for several years.
If elected I promise to:
Listen to the experts in the field, not my own preconceived ideas.
Think of the future as well a the past.
Consider a diverse range of circumstances, not just my own.
I hope I can count on your vote!
