I've lived in Reading since 2011. I've served 2 terms on Town Meeting and have really enjoyed understanding more about how Reading operates. I'm running again because my family is invested in this town, we plan to stay for the long term, and it's important to me to be involved in decisions that will help move Reading forward and maintain its desirability. I'll bring a valuable perspective right now as a current Killam parent. I hope I can count on your vote!

I've had the privilege to serve on TownMeeting since 2017 participating in the process of local decision-making and governance. I appreciate the thoughtful conversations I've had with my neighbors over the years when they know I serve as their representative for decisions that affect our community. I try to use my perspectives as a parent, homeowner, educator (MedfordPublicSchools), community member (ReadingEducationFoundation; CulturalCouncil) to inform my participation. Thank you for your vote.

As a Reading resident for more than 30 years, I am committed to positive change through respectful dialog.
I have served as the president of the Coolidge and RMHS PTOs and the Coolidge Science Olympiad Team parent support group. I was a 5 year board member of the Fall Street Faire Committee and am an active member of the Reading Community Singers for more than 10 years.
It’s been my privilege to serve as a Town Meeting Member since 2002. I respectfully ask for your vote for another term. -

My wife & I have two daughters whom I coached in sports. Now that they’re grown, I’m more involved in town. I’m a member of the Finance Committee & a liaison to the School Committee. We’ve lived in Reading 30+ years & our daughters went through our schools grades K-12. My career is in business – I owned an accounting firm for 20 years. I have strong accounting experience & enjoy being on FinCom. Being a Town Meeting member will aid me on FinCom & help improve town services for precinct 1.

Hi! I've been a Town Meeting Member for over 10 years. As a parent and former member of our School Committee, I care deeply about supporting our schools. As a Finance Committee Member, I am invested in a sound budget process and management. My priorities are to maintain the highest level of public services we can sustain; protect the town’s long-term financial position; and help promote civil, thoughtful, fact-based dialogue. I would appreciate your vote. Email me anytime: jmborawski@gmail.com.

My husband Mike and I have lived in Reading since 2018, now with our two-year-old son. As we begin to put down roots here, I want to do my part to contribute to the town that has been so welcoming to us. I am invested in fostering a community where all residents can thrive and feel happy to call Reading home. If elected, I promise to serve with thoughtfulness, open-mindedness, and kindness. Look forward to collaborating with you all!

I think being involved is important. Town meeting is the most direct form of democratic engagement available, and I've found my time on TM thus far to have been eye opening as it relates to our local officials.

I’m a collaborative and common-sense leader who is running for Town Meeting Precinct 1. With 23 years of experience living in town, I understand the needs and concerns of the community. As a parent of three children who have either graduated from or are currently attending the Reading public schools, I have a vested interest in ensuring the best education for all students. My leadership style is inclusive and focused on finding practical solutions that benefit the entire community.

My wife and I have lived in Reading since 2006 and are raising three children in the Reading public schools. I am an active volunteer in Reading’s Scouting programs. My 15 years as a manager and financial decision-maker in the high-tech and cybersecurity industries has given me the experience to successfully handle unique challenges. I believe in a fiscally responsible and realistic approach to addressing Reading’s projects and needs. I look forward to the opportunity to represent you.
